Manages Exudate and Provides Antibacterial Efficacy
SilverMed Antibacterial Foam combines the benefits of Silver Foam Dressing and Silicone Foam Dressing for superior exudate management and antibacterial efficacy. Its soft, adaptable material promotes optimal wound healing by maintaining a moist environment. The silver foam core efficiently absorbs exudate and releases silver ions, providing up to 99.99% antibacterial effectiveness against diverse bacteria. The perforated silicone wound contact layer minimizes trauma and enhances comfort during dressing changes.
Directions For Use
- 1 Cleanse the wound with sterile saline water and gently dry the surrounding skin.
- 2 Choose the appropriately sized SilverMed Antibacterial Foam dressing to cover the wound bed.
- 3 Remove the release films and apply the SilverMed Antibacterial Foam dressing over the wound area. The dressing should overlap the dry surrounding skin by at least 1-2 cm for smaller wounds and 5 cm for larger wound surfaces.
- 4 Cover with a secondary dressing of your choice.
