TriSAP

Silver Silicone Super Absorbent

Silver Silicone Super Absorbent Dressing manages exudate and infection risks while protecting the peri-wound. Its silicone border ensures gentle removal, even under compression, while the super absorbent core locks in bacteria to support healing. Infused with silver, it’s ideal for moderate to heavily exuding wounds at risk of infection.

As a wound care physician, each patient brings their own unique challenges. A dressing should simplify care, and TriSAP offers that peace of mind to providers while delivering enhanced benefits to patients. -Alison Garten, DPM, DAPS, CWSP, CPE

Directions For Use

  • 1 Before applying the dressing, cleanse the wound/incision site, rinse well with sterile saline and dry the surrounding skin.
  • 2 Choose a dressing size to ensure direct contact between the wound/incision and the gelling fiber pad. Remove the dressing from the sterile pack and remove the central release film minimizing finger contact with the central pad and the adhesive surface.
  • 3 Position the central pad directly over the wound/incision area. Remove the remaining release films along the contour of the dressing and gently mold the dressing in place with hang for a secure adhesion. Do not stretch.
The translucent backing allows the clinician to monitor the central pad and assess when the dressing needs to be changed. The dressing can be left in place for up to 7 days subject to regular clinical assessment and local dressing protocol. All wounds/incisions should be monitored frequently.

Remove the dressing when clinically indicated (i.e. leakage, excessive bleeding, suspicion of infection, or at 7 days). To remove the dressing, press down on the skin with one hand and carefully lift an edge of the dressing with your other hand. Stretch the dressing to break the adhesive seal and remove.
