Directions For Use

  • DryMax Extra should be used on exuding wounds where there is a need for efficient absorption and fewer dressing changes.
  • DryMax Extra can be used both as a primary dressing and as a secondary dressing.
  • 1 Clean the wound as per local protocol. Dry the surrounding skin carefully. Choose a size of dressing depending on the wound size; the core edge of the dressing should overlap the wound by minimum 2 cm.
  • 2 Apply the conformable DryMax Extra in direct contact with the wound bed or the primary dressing.
  • 3 Secure the product in place. DryMax Extra may be used in combination with compression therapy. DryMax Extra should be changed according to the clinical condition of the wound, or before saturation. If the condition of the wound deteriorates, consult your healthcare professional.
  • 4 Dressing removal can be facilitated by moistening the dressing. Dispose of the dressing as clinical waste according to local regulations.
